These include Enhanced Quick Search, Index Improvements, new options for File Archive & Collection, and many more. New to the IPRO Information Governance? IPRO integrates Information Governance & eDiscovery to provide clients with the most flexible, scalable, and powerful Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) workflow in the legal industry.
Highlights IPRO Information Governance Release 6.5.5.
Quick Search – Users can now use proximity searching in Quick Search to include Boolean Operators – such as AND, OR – quotation marks, parentheses, etc. This option, known as “Expanded Quick Search”, can now be found in the preferences dropdown menu. Quick Search is now easier, more robust, and more precise. Specific Quick Search queries equal efficient searches! —see Quick Searches and Quick Searches with Boolean Operators.
Index Improvements – A new option to allow reprocessing of items that have failed to index at an account level or a job level has been added, thereby reducing processing time. This easy-to-use interface allows users to quickly identify error(s), determine which file(s) have error(s), and easily reprocess only the file(s) that failed—see Reprocessing Indexing Failures.
File Archiving & Collection – A new option is now available to archive “Direct from Source” without the need to set up and run a separate index job first.
- This option allows customers to archive their data without having to index it first. When creating a File Archiving job, a new screen options appear, allowing users to choose between a Direct from Source or Index Search Query job type. With this new choice, users have the option of selecting specified folders to archive, limiting the archiving that is performed, which can speed up the entire process - see File Archiving.
Crawler Job / Agent Improvements – Added the ability for jobs and agents orchestration across various cluster nodes—see Including and Excluding Agents and Jobs on Master Node and Including and Excluding Agents and Jobs on Worker Node.
And these are just a few! Within this solid release, we have improved the efficiency of how our customers work with the product. With greater efficiency comes greater success. Take a look at the full release notes located on our Help Center!
