By Brittany Thaler & Tiffany Hudson

This week, I interviewed Tiffany Hudson, Client Success Manager, who joined IPRO from the State of Alaska, Department of Law. In her current position, Tiffany gets asked a lot of questions.  Not just “How do I do” something, but “What is the right way to do it?”, and “How do I set us up for success?”.  In this Tech Tip Tuesday blog, Tiffany shares some tips about reporting in discovery ][ local 7.0.

Scenario: I am an IT Administrator and need a full and complete report of all case sizes in discovery ][ local 7.0.  Is there a utility, or report, where I can get this information?

Tiffany Hudson, CSM

Discovery ][ Local version 2022.7.0, includes a utility that allows you to see your footprint across all cases at once. When you run the report, you’re able to select what details you’d like to include such as:

  • native file size

  • image file size

  • production image file size

  • extracted text size

The Case Details Utility gives you an at-a-glance view of your data footprint.  This can be useful when considering upgrading to discovery ][ Enterprise or even for client billing purposes. For a walk-through guide on where to find and how to use this utility, check out the Case Details Utility topic on the Help Center today!
