2. If you notice an error or issue related to the Blackice drivers on an eCapture Worker, often just reinstalling them will alleviate the problem. In order to do this follow the steps below: To uninstall the Balckice drivers, run the "PremiumCaptureUninstall.cmd" as an administrator in "Program files(x86)\Ipro Tech\eCapture\_InstallSpecific\BlackIce\NT" Then, to reinstall the drivers, run the "PremiumCatureInstall8.cmd" as an administrator Double check the "Devices and Printers" section of the Windows Control Panel and make sure that one of the Blackice printer drivers are set as the default printer (green checkmark).
3. It sounds like maybe the author field is being mapped to something like the BEGDOC field. Please make sure that it is not being mapped to that and also that the DocId is not being mapped to any field. Then let me know if you still see any errors.

9. When you're using the option in eCapture QC to reprocess in native application, the pages you print to the EDD Driver don't get sent until you close the application. This means you can format each worksheet tab separately, print it to the EDD driver, and then move on to the next tab. In this way you can use separate formatting for each worksheet tab and print multiple times to preserve the formatting. When you are finished printing each worksheet just close the native application (Excel) and the EDD driver will send all the pages printed back to the QC module.

12. If you have a streaming job in eCapture where X number of document were processed, Y number of documents were filtered out, and Z number of Documents were exported, but the numbers don't seem to ADD up, this is because if one document fails in a family, the entire family is held back from being exported. You can verify this by pulling up your Streaming job in eCapture QC, viewing all of the exceptions, and making sure to uncheck the two options to separate families. This will allow you to view the specific items that failed as well as the other members of their family that were held back from exporting. You can then try to fix all of the errors and then make sure everything is exported by publishing errors.

14. In eCapture, you can create search criteria in the Flex Processor Rules Manager that can limit the items from the Discovery Job that will be selected. Using a search, you can specify the search criteria when creating Data Extraction Jobs or Processing Jobs. If the option to create a dtSearch index during initial discovery was not selected for a Discovery Job, then searching will not be available. Searches can filter the Data Extraction Job and Processing Job results according to text contained within the files. More information and instructions for using this feature can be found in Appendix A of the eCapture user guide.
