  1. FYI, going forward, you can have a field named pgcount but the field type needs to be Image_Cnt. When you create cases, if you do not select that field type for one of your fields, Eclipse SE will automatically create the field. I refer to it as a "system" field as that is the field the program uses for image page counts. In case creation, if you look at the field list in Step 2, Option 4, the "field types" listed must exist in every case, but your field label does not have to be the same.
  2. This can be accomplished using Validate Image/Native File Paths in Case Admin. Select the options in the attached screenshot and your pgcount (Image_Cnt) field will be updated.
  3. An alternative method for this issue would be to import the .DAT file as is, not updating the file path as it is not in the first few records. Once the import is complete, update the paths to the native using Manage Volume Paths in Case Administration. Locate the existing path in the Native field for a record with the native, then select the Bulk Update File Paths in Manage Volume Paths. Select Native File Paths for the Values to Update. You can then enter the existing path, to the top level folder, e.g. Vol001, and replace it with the new path, to same folder level, with the path on your system.

    LFP and OPT

Yes, the issue is that you would only see the first page of each document. The image load files require a line/page entry for every page in each document. Your workaround of assigning a suffix to each page is the best way to deal with this file format.

When you ask if Ipro can import images with an .opt file, this is supported in Eclipse SE as well as Eclipse.

The modification will work, however, isn't there a unique "bates/production" number on each page of the document? If yes, the load file should reflect the unique page/bates number for each page, like your modified example. Image load files are page based, whether a lfp or opt file. There has to be a line entry for every page in the collection.
  7. This is a manual process with considerations for a couple of items. Before performing the process, be aware that you cannot have duplicate case names, even when associated to a different Client ID. There is a workaround if you need to maintain the case name. Also, when you create a new client and move the case, if you have ingested natives or performed bulk tiffing, etc. you will have to use the Manage Volume Paths feature to update the paths to these files. It may be best to work through this process with a support tech to ensure this is successful as there are multiple steps that need to be performed to accomplish this. The most important step is to copy your case database folder to a safe area as you can then restore it if something goes wrong and it also will be used as part of the movement process to a new client.
  8. The only way to add tags to Review Passes/Batches is through Admin. You will have to either modify/add new tags to the Coding Form, if a default Coding form was selected, if not add new tags in the Review Pass Tag tab. Users can only add private tags.

  10. Sandy, that issue will be resolved in the next release of Eclipse SE and available very soon.

  12. Ipro would like to update the file conversion list in iconvert. We would appreciate your feedback, for file formats we no longer need to support, as well as any file formats that you would like to see added to the list. Thank you in advance for your input. Here is the current list of file formats. CaseCentral Custom Data Format (export from LFP only) DB/extWorks DLF (next version getting ready to release will do Ringtail full to DLF including coding fields) Doculex(3) Doculex(5) Documatrix (export only) ETech load files Introspect4 (export only) Introspect5 (export only) Ipro Opticon load files Ringtail Summation Trial Director Visionary

  14. Since we incorporated the Filepath field, you can select the top level folder for the data collection and the sub-folders will be captured in the Filepath field during the ingestion process. This methodology can also be used when Ingesting Images as long as you select to map the Filepath field. Many clients use this when ingesting image based PDF files that have descriptive folder names for the collection.
