No MediaTypeFormatter is available to read an object

This error can show up in Eclipse Web, Eclipse Admin, and can cause issues running the eCapture Controller or other Ipro products. If it is affecting multiple applications the most likely culprit is an incorrect Authorization endpoint in the

Enterprise.ConfigurationSetting table of the ADD_Config database. It can be updated with the correct IP address by using the query below:

 

 UPDATE Enterprise.ConfigurationSetting
 SET Value = '127.0.0.1' --enter the IP address found in the Authorization Manager
 WHERE ConfigurationSettingId = 6 

 

After updating this value recycle the ADD Services app pool on the web server and then try logging in again.

Thanks for this Michael,

Question for you on this. What would normally cause this value to be incorrect? I'm assuming it gets inserted when the ADD is installed, or upgraded, but what would cause it to become incorrect?
