OCR Error: DocSaveResultsToFile() error. Return=-14. on page: 0001234.5678

Do you receive the above error when trying to run OCR? When you view the log file for OCR this error will repeat per-page (the above page # is an example only).

The fix is quite simple. The Windows TEMP folder becomes full and needs to be cleared out.

• Open Windows Explorer and in the address bar type: %UserProfile%\AppData\Local

• Once in the Local folder, scroll down until you find a folder called Temp (may be cased as TEMP, which is fine)

• Right-click on the Temp folder and click "Properties". The only thing you want from the Properties window that comes up is just to identify the "Size" and "Size on disk" values.

-- For the error to occur, the size of the folder is typically in the high GB's (gigabytes)

• Exit out of Eclipse SE Admin and Desktop

• Delete everything from the TEMP folder; whatever remains, or cannot be delete is ok (check the box for all files and click "Skip")

• Now, the file size of the TEMP folder should be much lower
