Nick Redwine
In TimeCoder Pro you are able to swap out the media files for new ones in 2 different ways. In the Multimedia Manager, you can either replace the selected video file, or you can remove it. Removing the video file will remove the file AND the timestamps on the deposition. Replacing the media file will retain the timestamps and replace the old video with the new one.

Don Greco
I do this often. Problematic Mpeg vids converted to MP4, brought into TCP and replacing vids works most of the time. Often I have to resync the last 3/4 of the vids. This is also beneficial if you ONLY have a .cms file and you need a .MDB or other sync file. Export as folder type DepoView and problem solved. Escalation Engineer Chris F Posted July 19, 2021 Escalation Engineer Share Posted July 19, 2021 Agreed. Since some of the industry has moved to remote depositions via video conferencing, (ZOOM, Teams, etc.) some workflows require post-production. TCP users may receive higher than normal resolution videos. IPRO suggests to check resolution on said videos before replacing them. If the video has a size higher than 1920x1080 (such as 4k) you must convert to 1920x1080 or lower. Once the videos have been normalized, replace using the steps above.
