Can eCapture process MBOX files?

The official list of files that eScan-IT supports can be found starting on page 256 of the latest eScan-IT user guide, which I will attach to this post. Note that given the option, we always recommend to process files through eCapture when given the choice between eCapture and eScan-IT.

Hi Vaibhav,

 

We're constantly expanding eCapture's MBOX support. In versions more recent than 2016.3.1 which Levi referenced, we have made a few changes and improvements to the way items from MBOX files are evaluated and handled, but at this time we still will only reliably discover and process RFC 822 MBOX data. Changes from earlier versions include more accurate detection of MBOX files and better handling of the contents extracted from MBOX containers. Other MBOX data may discover and process successfully, however, but we recommend checking results when processing MBOX files, since this datatype can vary widely.
