Problem:

When attempting to archive a case, receiving the following error:

Archive Skipped!!! Case is in use.

If this issue occurs, this means that the case database files are locked by another session of Eclipse SE Desktop and/or Eclipse SE Admin. To fix this, please ensure that all sessions of Eclipse SE Desktop that are logged into the case that you are attempting to archive are closed.

Additionally, if any users have Eclipse SE Admin opened, and they are interacting with the case in question on any of the menu screens, this will also create a lock on the database files.

In some cases, if no one is interacting with the case, please check the Windows Task Manager for any Eclipse Admin.exe *32 or EclipseDesktop.exe *32 applications, and end the processes.
