We have a client who includes a lot of customization to their SQL databases to run custom reports and such. They noticed that after a database upgrade the custom scripts and tables are being removed from their databases.

We clean up some database objects before we upgrade them so that there are no old scripts left behind. We will identify and remove the objects in the database using the schema name. If a custom schema name is used for the custom code then it will be missed in our cleanup and will be maintained during the upgrade process.
