An underutilized tool in QC sessions for eScan-It is the ability to change processing options for your QC session, without changing the project options as a whole.

In the lower left window, where the image keys are displayed, while in QC, there is an icon with a hand over a piece of paper.

This is the QC options icon, and will allow a user to change settings, such as color depth, which is useful to reprocess a batch of files in black and white, when color was used on the project, or the other way around. These options are only used until you exit QC, and return to the batch. It is important to note, that if you leave a category, such as PDF, then come back into QC to work on Word documents, you will need to make changes to the QC options again, since you have left QC, and re-opened a new session.
