Hello,

Thank you for posting in the Community!

If you ever see oddities within searching that are not pulling back correct search results within Eclipse SE Desktop, but you are searching for a term that you are certain exists within one of your document's extracted text, then your index could be out of date.

I would recommend to first perform a Rebuild of the Document Full Text Index. This will reconstruct the searching index, which could fix any issues with results not pulling up correctly.

To do this, you will first need access to Eclipse SE Administration.

  1. Select the 'Case Management' tab at the top of the screen.
  2. Expand Client/Case Management and select 'Case Utilities' under the Case Tools section.
  3. Select the checkbox next to the case from the list on the left side.
  4. Under the 'Rebuild Index' tab, select the checkbox next to 'Rebuild Document Full Text Index'
  5. Select the 'Rebuild' button on the right side of the screen. Depending on the size of the case, extracted text, and fields added to the index -- this process could take some time to run.

NOTE: Users can continue to use the case as you are rebuilding the index, however, they may experience search inconsistencies as it is running since a new index will be constructed. Additionally, if any users are splitting/merging or importing documents, please ensure that the rebuild and these processes are not running simultaneously.
