eScan-it is not recognizing PST files! What should I do?

1. Make sure Outlook 32-bit is installed and configured with a default profile ( see link )

2. Right click on the eScan-it shortcut and select Properties > Click Compatibility > Click "Change settings for all users" > Un-check "Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP"

having this setting enabled will cause PST discovery to fail.
