Hello All,

Recently encountered an issue with eScan-IT that occurred when performing any OCR function.

When performing ANY OCR function, we received the following error:

07:37:07 AM 02/09/2017 | 2 | 429 | IproOcrEngine | ActiveX component can't create object

After various troubleshooting steps, we finally came to Microsoft Office. The machine we were working with had Office 2016 installed. Currently, eScan-IT is not certified for Office 2016. We downgraded Office to 2013, and we were able to OCR.

It may be different for each situation, but this is definitely worth a try since the differences in Office could cause issues with any functions in eScan-IT.
